To be eligible, students must have:
- At least 75 college credits, including a majority of the program prerequisites.
- Program prerequisites include the following classes or equivalents:
ACCT&201 - Financial Accounting I
ACCT&202 - Financial Accounting II
ACCT&203 - Managerial Accounting
BUS&201 - Business Law
BUS210 - Business Statistics or Math&146 Statistics
ENGL101 - Freshman Composition
- Students are required to have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Early Admission: Students with fewer than 75 college credits and are missing prerequisites or those who have previously completed an associate or bachelor’s degree, but have not completed all or a majority of the prerequisites may apply early, contact us for more information.
Program Information: The Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business program is a natural choice for applicants already pursuing a business and accounting associate degree as well as for current workers in the local international trade arena looking to upgrade skills and be eligible for higher paying managerial positions.
The program leverages existing business/accounting coursework and experience and adds upper-division courses that provide a well-rounded business skillset with an international focus.
The curriculum focuses on ethics, cultural sensitivity and awareness, communication skills, offers a strong business base in finance and accounting, and hands-on experiences that include a practicum and an internship. Students take 300 and 400 level courses including International Marketing, Operations Management, International Finance, International Project Management, Global Business Strategy, and International Entrepreneurship. All students must complete an internship prior to graduation.
